I am divorced and have a 14-year old son and a cat named Max who is sometimes dubbed "Mad Max". Trust me. It's very appropriate.

I work for a property management company as an office manager and have been with this company for a combined total of 13 years. I do like my job because of the freedom it affords me and I have a great group of co-workers and a wonderful boss.

I'm on here mainly to keep myself motivated about getting out of debt and staying that way. I'm 44 years old with not much towards my retirement saved up and nothing for my son's college education. I think it's about time that I "get busy with it!" and this is a great way to keep me accountable to my goals.

This is weird!

I posted an entry the day before last and it still has not shown up on the personal blogs main page. It shows up fine on my blog, however, or at least it does for me. If anyone happens to visit my blog please let me know if it shows up for you, too. It was a blog about Dave Barry's book that I just recently read and highly recommend for a good laugh.

Ah, that would explain it then.

Drafts are sorted in the same chronological order as entries that are posted immediately. What that means is, if you made a draft, but don't publish it until a day later, it will still be sorted on the main page as though it was published yesterday. Makes sense?

Yeah, I learned that one the hard way too, but I "fixed it" by copying the text, deleting the draft entry, creating a new entry, and pasting and posting that instead.

Actually, I don't even use drafts at anymore, and I would recommend the same to everyone else. If you still want to work with drafts, I would just save it under a regular text document on your desktop and then copy & paste to your entry.

I'll report this bug to Nate and Jeffery though.

There is also the fact that if you make more than one entry in a day only the last one shows on the main page. You have to hit All Entries at the top of the page to see everything posted that day. Some of us will post several times a day and you wouldn't know it without hitting All Entries.

Hehe, I guess this is just for the sake of conversation, but yeah, the quirk that LuckyRobin mentioned is actually a "feature" this time, to sort of level out the playing field so that all bloggers would get a chance to bask in the main page. Otherwise, there are times when a third to half of all entries up front are coming from only one or two people.

But yes, the main page shows only the latest from each day. I don't know how many other people do this, but my link goes straight to all entries.
